PC: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Ultra 2098 (GU2098)

AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz
64 bit Quad-Core Processor
4 MB L2 Cache

8GB DDR3 1333
500GB SATA II 3.0Gb/s 7200RPM

AMD Radeon R7 240 2GB

500W

I'm switching to PC from PS3 and I'd like the controls to be as fluid as on the console. I don't care if the graphics are on low the entire time, fluid controls and game play is my focus. Just bought this PC, husband says it has the stats, but Witcher 3 plays choppy, with lip sync lag and control delays with an XBOX360 USB controller. What do I need to upgrade to get the smoothness I'm used to from console? I'm trying to not spend more than another 200$ on it.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

you need a much better gpu. the processor is pretty low end but overall, the graphics is what is holding things back.

the new amd rx 480 is the obvious choice right now but there are some power issues with the card that need to be worked out before i can recommend them fully. give amd a couple weeks to work out the power issues and a new rx 480 or maybe the new 470 when it comes out would be the perfect budget choice for your system. 4gb 480 starts at $199 and the 470 should start around $150 when they come out in another week or so.
