I'm building a PC and I'm in the stage where I'm trying to verify my motherboard is working with my CPU/GPU/Memory. When I turn the motherboard on, the power LED lights up and that's it. However, all the components are getting power from the power suppy (CPU gets warm, cooler fans when attached run, GPU lights up and fans spin). When connected to the monitor, there is no signal. Also, no beeps or boops of any kind.

I've disassembled and reassembled the entire motherboard, tried various connections to the monitor (DVI/VGA/DVI), and attempted to reset the CMOS, all to no avail.

Is my motherboard fried? Am I missing something simple? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Just to make sure you have the 8 pin, 24, power connectors connected to the motherboard, and the power cable to the video card with the monitor hooked up to the video card.
Remove your memory and try 1 stick at a time in each ram slot. If nothing with that stick of memory then try the same thing with the other stick.
If still no go them remove the video card reset CMOS hook the monitor up to the motherboard (report back)

Hi. I tried all those steps, including popping the motherboard battery out and "resetting" it and still have no change. The power light still comes on and nothing else. It's all obviously receiving power but it's not communicating. Could it be a faulty cable or maybe incompatible RAM (though I'm like 99.9999% sure it's compatible RAM)? Or is the CPU incorrectly installed (it's definitely receiving power)?

Thanks again for your help.

Edit: Oh, and the "xLed" is on as well.
