Probably need a full OS reinstall.
Might need a whole new OS.
Ye I will be reinstalling windows, but what do I do before I take apart my current pc with the HDD? just unplug it?
Nothing special needed.
During the install, when it asks where, go to Custom
Delete ALL existing partitions, and let Windows install to the whole drive space. It will create what it needs.
