Does reading half a raid 0 SSD corrupt the data?

I recently placed half a raid 0 duo in a hard drive enclosure to try and read some data. It said it could not read it.

Would this procedure damage the link between the two raid drives?

Solution

Maybe.
Since you've already done it, the only thing you can do now is put that RAID 0 back the way it was, and see what happens.
Either it works or it doesn't.
You can't read information off one hdd once it was used in raid because raid doesn't save all info to one drive it splits it up between the two drives so once you remove a hdd from a raid it becomes useless if you put the same drives back in the raid setup it should work but you would need a non raid hdd ( hdd thats not part of a raid setup) to take data off your raid setup and you should be fine if the data didn't get corrupted when you tried to use the as a single drive
