Hello, I have tried everything and came here to ask for help.

My computer will not turn off after shutdown. I try to power it off by button and will not turn off. I am forced to turn it off by the switch on the power supply. Then after I get my computer to turn off it will not turn on. It will turn on when I put my finger on the CMOS button on the I/O mainboard. Also it will not post if I do not put my finger on the CMOS button. Once I get my computer to load, everything works fine, I play games for hours, steam movies and music. I have changed my CMOS battery. Ran 1 stick of RAM, reinstalled windows 10, switched out video cards, and ran just my SSD. I am thinking the problems is with the motherboard, grounding issues, or my power supply is not sufficient enough to power my computer. I do not have a spare power supply or motherboard to test. I built my computer 7 years ago.

Here are the specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte UD4P X58
CPU: i7 930 Bloomfield
Cooler: Corsair H100
PSU: 750W Corsair HX750
Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 580
RAM: 4x4 GSkill Ripjaws
ASUS PCE-AC56 802.11ac Dual-band Wireless-AC1300 PCI-E Adapters
Case : Cooler Master Storm Sniper
SSD: Crucial M500
3 Hard Drives: 2xWD Black 1WD Green
Generic Optical Drive
Aerocool Infinite Card Reader
Dual monitors

Thanks in advance!

Solution
I think the problem is the case. I've had power buttons fail on some of my cases made by Cooler Master.

Please consult the motherboard manual here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2986#manual turn to Page 4 Step 7 where it shows the Pin Assignments for the front panel connectors. Try taking the front panel connectors off of the motherboard and using a screwdriver to short out the pins labeled as the power switch according to the manual. Try both pin assignments.

If shorting out the pins results in the computer starting up properly, then the problem is the power button on your case.

Thanks will try. My computer decided to start working correctly again.....

When you push on the button, does it feel soft? Try pushing slightly sideways on it as you push in. Try the sideways push in each direction (left, right, up, down and in between) to see if any of those feel soft. If it feels soft and does not click properly, then your power button is failing.
