Trying to figure out graphics card sli

I have 2 gtx 770s and one has a problem where when I plug into one of the display outputs and I boot up windows it crashes and the other is working perfectly. So I was wondering if I run them in sli and hook my monitor to the graphics card would it all work

Yea what I meant was would I get video output of the one gtx 770 that has video output if I connect the dvi cable to the one and not connect the dvi cable to the other gtx 770 that doesn't have video output and be able to run them in sli?
