cpu temps too high?

So I have an fx 8300, the idle temperature is sometimes 52, or even 57-58 degrees. it's using the stock cooler. Is this normal for the stock cooler?

EDIT : under load it caps out at about 61 degrees

Not really great and not really that abnormal for a poorly ventilated case. I think it's high at idle and I'm not sure if that under load is accurate, they can heat up pretty good.

I couldn't stand mine and put it under water just to silence it.

I have a phantom 410 with pretty good ventilation. I opened the case, wiggled the cooler a little bit, and blew some compressed air at it, and now my idle's at 43
