I have a Coolermaster Haf X
I run a 4790k I7.

I stream, and my CPU is somehow bottlenecking everything else as I do when I stream something stupidly pretty like ARK. It's capping at 100% on my task manager when I run both OBS as well as ARK, and seems to result in dropped frames both in the game itself as well as through OBS.

What's more, Open Hardware monitor is showing temperatures of 75 degrees celsius averaging across all the cores when I'm running ONLY ARK on the main menu. That seems pretty bad.

I'm new to the liquid cooling game, and from the little I've read, it seems like I need a closed loop cooler ala the Corsair H55 or something.

Can someone correct me anywhere? Make a recommendation based on my case? <3

The H55 isn't going to net you much in the way of performance. If you want superior cooling performance from an AIO closed loop cooler, you need to look to a 240 or 280mm unit. Single fan, single width 120 or 140mm units aren't much if ANY better than an average aftermarket air cooler.

If you're currently using the stock cooler, I'd recommend simply going with a really decent air cooler. For 50-80 dollars you can get a pretty excellent, top of the line air cooler. For that price in liquid cooling, not so much. You'd need to spend at least 90-130 bucks for a decent closed loop cooler that's going to offer any genuine advantages.

This would be an excellent choice and is both nearly silent AND keeps my 6700k overclocked to 4.5Ghz below...

There are of course even more capable big tower air coolers, but any of these should afford you way better performance and much lower temps, especially if you're not overclocking. If you're in a different country, we'd need to know where so we could recommend something available in your market.
