Hi everyone,
I recently wanted to upgrade my CPU from AMD A4-5300 to AMD Athlon x4 860k. (I have a separate GPU).
I checked which BIOS version I needed for my mobo to recognize it and updated my BIOS to latest version. Then I changed the cpu and tried it out but there were no beeps / blank screen without any info. All fans were spinning and after I changed it back to old CPU it was fine again.
Do you guys think CPU I got is faulty? Or maybe a weird issue with mobo? Any sort of help is appreciated
Motherboard: ASUS A88XM-A
CPU: AMD A4-5300 APU > AMD Athlon x4 860k
GPU: Zotac GTS 450 AMP
