So guys I'm building a work pc

before asking about the graphics card what is your opinion about a i5-4690 cpu for a work PC?

So the point of the graphics card it's to just play 1080 video and last some years, and I was wondering what a good choice would be.

Thanks!

If internet browsing and using regular programs like word, powerpoint and excel is your only intention, the 4690 will be fine.

So just light use? Maybe a Nvidia GeForce GT 730.
My dad has a Quadro in his work PC (he does 3D modelling).

As for a 4690, they are good cards with low power usage, if you don't have to get an Intel, consider an AMD FX-8350 (a bit faster, cheaper, however greater power usage and AMD chipset).

So there is no need for a graphics card work usage and to watch 1080p video?

Nope. You can watch 1080p or 4k video or steam both using Plex without a separate video card.
