I use the Tp-Link Archer T4UH and it has always worked rather well when I used Windows 7, however, once I upgraded to Windows 10, the signal on all channels is very poor. The adapter connects easily enough, but the problem is that it will constantly juggle between the different channels as they change in terms of signal strength (it will always connect to the strongest signal), therefore I constantly loose my internet... That said, many other people are having similar problems with various Tp-Link products. It's been almost a year and Tp-Link still hasn't fixed the issue... So my question is: does anyone know of a decent Wi-fi adapter that is not made by Tp-Link that is compatible with Windows 10?

Thanks in advance.

I like the Intel based wireless adapters just because intel has the money to keep providing driver fixes and updates long after other companies have given up. They also tend to give microsoft a version of their driver for windows updates so you do not have to hunt for the updates.
--------
Windows 7 had the low power states turned off by default, Windows 8 and above turns them on by default. Many of the old drivers just did not work correct. You have to update the driver or go I to windows control panel device manager find he wireless device, right mouse click to get the properties. Find the power management and tell it to run in high performance mode. (Don't save power)

In low power mode the transmit power is reduced such that you transmit distance might be 1/10 th the transmit distance of full powder.
Or I guess you could move your machine to a few feet from your router.

If you already updated the driver and it does not help, odds are that it is not the currently selected driver.
