Recently upgraded my PC, including the Intel i7-6800K.

On my system info, the processor is showing the following:
Intel Core i7-6800K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz

On my previous CPU, the frequency read "@ 3.40GHz 3.90 GHz)", the latter being the Turbo Boost speed, right?

So if that's right, my new one should read "@ 3.40GHz 3.80GHz". Is this right? Is this an indication that my Turbo Boost isn't working properly? Am I missing software for it or is it nothing to be concerned about?

Solution
You could also check if turbo boost is disabled in the bios. You should try stress testing your CPU and see what the frequencies come up as.

It isn't turned off in BIOs. Ended up doing some CPU intensive tasks and watching the CPU utilisation in Task Manager. Windows 10 shows the current frequency as I've just discovered, and it was topping about 3.57GHz, higher than the base clock rate of 3.40GHz. So I guess it looks like everything is fine.
