Good day fellow users!

My problem is that my computer for some reason emits a strange chemical smell, Like it would be burning or something along those lines.
The plot twist is that nothing is THAT hot in my pc.
I have been running a temperature monitor (CPUID HWMonitor) to take a look at how hot is the pc. After a whole day (Didn't ran the whole day, just did not lose progress because i rather put it on sleep) of intense gaming such as BF4 or GTAV, here are my results:
The motherboard (Asrock b85m pro4) capped out at 46 cel
The I5 4460's hottest point was 56 cel
My GTX950 (Fans running at max) was only 34 cel at worst.
I have dusted the pc this morning, looked for burn marks, none found.

My theory is that there is something with my PSU, wich is a Chieftech 450W power supply.
Other than that, there is absolutely nothing wrong.

At first it kinda felt like a trap, maybe the software is malfunctioning but it turned out that the parts are actualy ice cold on touch.
Nothing changed performance wise.
I have bought this pc at Jan 3,all parts were factory new.
It started about 3-4 days ago. Maybe because of the increasing room temperature.

I am very concerned about my pc, What should i do?

Good day. It has stopped or at least for now following today's rain. It might have to do something with my room temperature.
Also what is a realiable psu? Or should i send my current one back to get repairs?

Your system doesn't have a big draw, any well built 450-500W PSU would do it (more than). What country are you in? I understand not all brands are available in all countries.

SOME Chieftecs are made by Delta and are OK, but not all of them are made by Delta. I'd need the exact model to know. In any case, a lot of those small Chieftec are split rails for 12 v only delivering 14 or 15 amps per rail and are inadequate for what you are doing.

An Antec Basic for 30 bucks would run your rig just fine and be a lot more reliable. EVGA, Corsair, etc and all the better name brands at the lower end are suitable for your needs.

Hungary is the country.
Chieftec 450W CTG-450-80P OEM is my current one.
I am not swiming in money,so first i am are going to send it to the service,to get it repaired/replaced. If it will continue malfunctioning, then i will buy the one you recomend.

Thanks anyway.
