Hi Tom's HW community!

I need to select a list of PC parts for a friend, available in the shortest time possible. Below are the details (formatted as asked in the request template), I was oriented towards the "Exterminator" build on reddit/r/pcmasterrace, but I was wondering if you could give me some more advice. I'm European (specifically, Italian) and not all the pieces shown there can be expedited quickly, so I'd rather have a more readily available solution.

Approximate Purchase Date: .: this week

Budget Range: 700 all included

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, media, office work. Mainly 1920x1080 gaming.

Are you buying a monitor: Y No

Parts to Upgrade: Everything (new pc)

Do you need to buy OS: No need

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: amazon, any European reseller who ships parts quickly after the order is paid for

Location: Italy

Parts Preferences: NVIDIA Gpu is a slight preference, but nothing major. If the pros of switching to a Radeon outweigh (cost wise) the cons, I'm down for it.

Overclocking: Not needed

SLI or Crossfire: Not needed

Your Monitor Resolution: FHD (1920x1080)

Additional Comments: Including an SSD in the build would be nice for the added usability.

Here you go. All parts are from Amazon as well. You can bring down the price a little by going for a non modular PSU.

Hey thanks a lot man! A most rapid and exhaustive response!

Is there a way to upgrade the CPU by sacrificing some storage space possibly? I've heard good things about the i5 6400, is it better or worse for that price than the i3 you linked me? Or would the difference be unnoticeable?

Thank you again!

I tried fitting it into the budget, but I couldn't get a decent price. If you want to spend the extra money though, it'd be a good upgrade. Naturally it is quite a bit faster than the i3.

I see. Would other pieces (mobo and PS) still be the same in case I got an I5 6400 instead of the I3 you linked? Or they wouldn't be compatible?
