I recently bought a HP 6200 with an i5 2400 and Nvidia gtx 650. This is my first gaming pc and i am really enjoying it, but I want to upgrade it as soon as possible. Can you change out the PSU on this? i've heard that it takes a weird kind of psu that isn't normal. I figure that if I can upgrade the PSU, I can upgrade the GPU unless mobo issues. Thanks for the help!

If it's not SFF, you'll have a hard time upgrading the PSU. Provided the motherboard is SFF though, you could buy a new case and PSU for relatively cheap (although DO NOT cheap out on power supplies). Then you can upgrade whatever the hell you want.

Is there a way I can tell if its SFF? Also i probably cant upgrade any time soon, atleast the case and all that (for reasons not related to money) but it could be possible. I rather just upgrade what I have though. Thanks!

Another question though (sorry for being annoying lol) but if it isnt SFF, will any psu fit into the slot? Well, a micro atx psu anyways.
I found out that its an HP 6200 Pro Microtower. I guess thats not SFF?

Don't worry, you're not being annoying. Most OEMs use proprietary components, so a lot of stuff won't fit. Microtower suggests that is the case. If you don't mind it looking a bit weird though, I guess you could take out the old PSU, mount the new one externally and route the cables through the old PSU slot.

I saw a picture of someone else having the PSU in the computer but not properly screwed in all the way. Would this work? I can't have it outside because of pets.
