I have Windows 7 Premium 64 bit, fully updated and every time when i'm connecting a device for the first time on my PC or i connect it to a new port and sometimes when i connect my android phone to my computer in the same port my OS has to install the driver. Every time that my OS installs the device driver all my RAM memory is eaten up, it lefts me with only about 100 mb of free memory and i have 4 GB DDR2 RAM. I don't think i have any viruses on my computer because i scanned it with BitDefender and it didn't find any viruses or spyware. And as i said my OS is fully updated, i updated it yesterday in fact.

What have you changed in the last 6 months? Installed Windows Updates? Installed new programs? Changed startup options? Any of these things, among others, can affect the amount of RAM you use. Maybe you should check for viruses and malware. All are possibilities. Do you have a full system backup from before the problem started? I always do. YMMV.
