I5 4670k Are this temps safe?

Solution
The reason your cpu get hotter is because the voltage is higher. I have the same cpu and am running it with 1.051 V @ 3.7GHz.(pic: The higher the overclock the more voltage its going to need. Put the cpu back at stock 3.4hz and it will require a lot less power. Also OC Genie usually increases the voltage like that so try to disable it and see if the temps / voltages go down.

yes that is kinda hot for an idle temp, unless the room is just really hot in which case you're never going to be cooler than the rooms ambient temp. but yeah, overclocking by nature makes things hotter and could be the culprit as well.
