I play games on my Toshiba L50-A it only has 4gb of ram and uses 2gb at idle so my ram gets used up pretty fast when playing games, my PC froze mid game so I restarted when launching I found myself in the could not find boot up device error screen I found a guide on how to fix this but then it just went to a "preparing auto fix" state under the Toshiba logo on the startup screen I was wondering if this is just a dead ram stick or another error.
Please help because I don't want to spend $70 on a brand new stick of ram to find that it was an easy fix. P.S I can't access the bios anymore for some strange reason.

Ok for anyone else having this issue I fixed it, it was actually the hard drive the cable had come loose so I opened it up and plugged it back in and vuila it fixed just like that back to the Windows home screen. I hope this helps anyone else out there having the same issue good luck.
