Recently I've become very interested in overclocking. As such, I was able to stably overclock my 7850 to 1050 Mhz. But my friend recently upgraded his R9 380 to a R9 480 and offered me to borrow his graphics card until I eventually upgrade to a 480/anything. His 380 is clocked at 960 Mhz.

While obviously taking advantage of more VRAM would be better, I was wondering since I don't play too much high demanding games (just Overwatch really), does his perform better enough to make it worth the time to take out my card and put his card in?

Also while I'm asking questions, say his 380 only had 2GB still clocked at 960 Mhz, and I had my overclocked 7850 at 1050 Mhz, would mine be faster or does new technology play a huge factor into performance? (Basically rewording the question)

Thanks in advance!
