Once you place a home router between two LANs, you are basically cutting off normal access from one LAN to the next. The only communication you need between the two LANs is PC2 to PC6? Place a cable between the two will work BUT you have to pay attention to the ROUTING TABLE on the two PCs.

A ROUTING TABLE is a "traffic" table entry on each PC that tell it where to go, specially when you have more than one NIC, and the new cable will add an additional NIC. Execute ROUTE PRINT to see what this table looks like. A routing table is resolved top to bottom. You may have to make manual entries to the routing table in PC2 and PC6. This is not easy to understand for newbies and am not able to handhold you step by step. That's the basic...

Of course if you are able to get rid of router2 somehow so everybody is on the same LAN then your problem goes away.
