I am planning for a future build for an Intel i5-4590. I checked Micro Center and most of the boards came up were Z97. I know there are more boards that work with the LGA 1150 socket but I have no clue what I am looking for with respect to features. I don't know what features I need and features I don't need. I more or less just need the basics and something thing that I won't bog down since it will probably be something I will have for a few years possibly so I want something fairly solid as well.
Also, any general knowledge about motherboards would be cool too. I am trying to learn as much as I can but I know it will take a while.
