My isp just upgraded my internet service to 300 mbps down and 20 mbps up. the problem is I'm not getting those speeds with ipv4. What I'm getting is 275 mbps down and 3.8 mbps up with ipv4.
Now with ipv6 my speeds are 320 mbps down and 22 mbps up. The problem is that my computer is using ipv4 as it's default connection and I need to change it to ipv6. now my modem is a c6300 netgear.
When I try disabling ipv4 it says I have internet connected to ipv6 but I can't access nothing that requires a internet connection. and it only says it's connected for a short time. it's almost like ipv6 doesn't have a connection unless ipv4 is enabled. this shouldn't be the case. moreover, the ipv6 will say connected and then it will say it's not connected. but either was I can't access anything unless I have the ipv4 enabled. so how can I make ipv6 my default connection and it actually connect.

How do I set this computer to use ipv 6 intead of ipv4 I've been looking on the internet for days and can't find a solution.
