I've wanted to upgrade my pc, but I'm not sure on what to upgrade. Here are my pc specs:

Cpu: Intel Core I3-2120
Gpu: Gtx 750 Ti (I don't mind having this graphics card, since I don't play demanding games.)
Ram: Hyper fury X 1x4 gb ddr3-1600
Storage: 1.5 TB hdd (7200 rpm) and sadly, no ssd
Case: Deepcool Tesseract (The case is what I'd like to upgrade first, but I can wait to upgrade other components)

P.S. These 5 are the only things I want to upgrade

Solution
Pretty hard to answer when you basically said you aren't playing demanding games.

What EXACTLY do you want to do then that you can't do now?

1) SSD - boot, general opening programs is snapper (i.e. 850 Samsung EVO 256GB, for about $90USD... use Samsung Magician... Machrium Reflect Free to clone, or do a clean insall)

2) CPU - see pcpartpicker and get a 4-core up to the maximum supported by the motherboard (see its CPU support list)
- helps with video processing and similar
- game benefit varies a lot, but again you said that doesn't matter

3) DDR3 memory - suggest at least 8GB with two, identical sticks (or four for 4x4GB if applicable to your motherboard memory limit)
- Google Chrome and other tasks can often eat up a lot of memory...

4) GPU - what can I say?
Maybe an RX-470, or GTX1060 later once prices drop?

Summary:
As said, hard to answer this. Everything I say except the SSD might turn out to be a waste of money.

If you don't have W10 it's probably a good time since you only have a few more weeks. You could do a clean install to the SSD (no need to enter a key of you have W7 or later already... just have HDD disconnected, install W10, drivers etc then copy back any important data..)

Solution
It comes down to what you do with your system. The best upgrade for your system in computing perfromance would be an i7 3770k, if you have a Z overclocking board, or a 3770 non-k if you don't. You should first check the CPU support list from the MB manufacturer, though. ANd you may have to do a BIOS upgrade. What MB is it, btw?

On teh other hand, the best upgrade for your system overall would be an SSD.
