WEI SAT 2 SATA 3 Difference .1 Only

I ran the Windows Experience Index for both an OCZ Vertex 2 SATA 2 and a Samsung 850 Pro. The latter scored 7.9 and the other 7.8. I'm curious why the difference is only .1 when one is SATA 2, the other SATA 3.
