Hey Guys, a little help on a little upgrade

Hey Guys

I have been given an old pc. my brother wants it to run minecraft and games like that.
What is the minimum upgrade i would need? im not good at working out what RAM etc i need.

Any help appreciated. thanks

Current system
Intel Pentium E5200 @ 2.5 ghz
4gb dual ddr2 ram
msi 2A78h socket 775 MOBO
gforce 210 GPU

what would the ideal Ram and maybe CPU upgrade it would need to run a bit faster?

Another 4 GB's of RAM wouldn't hurt, and add a GTX 740/750/750 Ti.

Would that speed up overall performance? i think it only has 2 slots for ram so im guessing this mobo can take 2x4gb? which ram would it need?

i think you may be out of luck putting more ram in that PC. the specs i am getting for that motherboard says it only supports a max of 4GB and i don't see any info on this mobo supporting the E5 series pentium's but it does have a PCI-E slot

ok so is there any way of speeding up a little? or is there any cheap MOBO/CPU i can throw in it for around £50-£100?
