Hi,

Today I have opened my PC to replace the thermal paste of the CPU and clean the cooler. I also remove the GPU to clean it.

Everything seemed ok, but when I was to turn on it, I found some problems.

In the first attempt, the PC fails. The CPU cooler stops turning within the first seconds and the computer restart. In that second start, it turn on, but then I have no image in the monitor. I get this message: "No signal detected".

I have tried connecting the DVI cable both in the GPU and in the motherboard, but the result was the same.

Please, could you help me? It's the first time I try this kind of work and I'm afraid I broke something.

If it helps, the CPU is a i5-4440 and the GPU a R9 270.

Thanks for your help. Yes, I cleaned it with alcohol. Now I've tried to rotate the fan but cannot insert it, because one pin is broken... I'll buy another cooler, hope that will fix the problem.
