going to buy the EVGA 750ti graphics card and need to upgrade my UEFI BIOS apparently?

how do i do this?

You would go to the motherboard manufacturer's website. There should be BIOS downloads there. If you don't already have a UEFI BIOS you won't get an update that IS.
