So today I decided to switch back from Windows 10 and re-installed Windows 7 fresh (it had been over a month so couldn't revert back easily).

I'm now without an internet connection and in turn unable to download the drivers I need for anything and everything. I have no DVD drive nor the disc for my motherboard.

Things I have tried:
- Putting appropriate files on USB Stick and external HD but they are not reconized by the PC as I have no USB drivers
- Lan ethernet connection
- Ethernet internet connection
- Wifi Adapter that came with MOBO
- Connecting phone

Strangely enough my mouse and keyboard work but nothing else via USB seems to.

I'd really prefer to not go back to Windows 10. If anyone had any suggestions for how I can get online that'd be fantastic!

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k Skylake
Motherboard: Asus Z170 Deluxe
Ram: 32GB (3000Mhz) Corsair Dominator DDR4
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (EVGA) 6GB
Memory: 450GB INTEL SSD & 3 TB HD

Solution
I see no other way. Power off, disconnect the SATA and power cables from HDD and connect it to the other pc (also powered off). Same when connecting it back.

I've tried every USB port available yeah. The stick is definitely 2.0 also as bought today and says on packaging etc.

I do. It's set up right next to the one I'm having issues with. I've tried connecting them with an ethernet cable with no luck. My only other idea is to take a HD out of the PC I'm having issues with and try and put files on it from the other PC that I've downloaded. Though that will be a first or me (moving/adding drives in a PC). Gonna hold out or other ideas though if possible.
