If you truly have an i5-4XXX processor, do yourself a favor and get something like a 1070/RX 480, more performance and you may see the 750Ti bottleneck in some cases. Make sure you have a good power supply as well, most pre-builts come with 'eh' power-supplies, and since this is Dell, it may just be a generic Dell PSU.

Bottlenecking occurs when a part of your computer can't keep up with another. I'd suggest the RX 480 if you're being capped at $200, that's the best bang for you buck. And you can check what PSU you have by opening your case and finding the stickers (or take a picture and post it here)

It should work with the card. I have an inspiron 530 that has a core 2 quad (q6600). I added the exact same GPU and it worked perfectly. All I did was upgrade the power supply (around 500w would be good) and added more ram (8gb ideal for gaming).

Note: make sure u have the right pci-e slot for your card. The one you need has some form of lock at one end of the slot. I couldn't see a good pic of the motherboard from your links so be careful.

That's a very good system, but REPLACE the power supply as soon as you can, that's a cheap Chinese power-supply and should be avoided.

Refer to this thread for a good power-supplies:

I say that because of the RAM and CPU, both are still good-to-go for gaming and other things, and if you were to upgrade to something like an RX 480, you'd be able to max out almost all games @ 1080p. What I said to refer to the PSU tier list was to make sure you get a good PSU, you go to Amazon/Newegg/other and find a PSU, but realize it's labeled as Tier 5 on the list (bad). You can weed out the bad ones from the good ones, I would advise getting a Corsair (non-CX), EVGA, Antec, Seasonic, or LEPA.

Measure the dimensions of your PSU/PSU slot and post here, we can help with that (TurkeyScratch?)

is this the GPU that you're talking about? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202221 if so i dont think i could afford it. i dont really play games at ultra. i just want a GPU that can run games at 1080P with high-medium setting.

Then you'd be better of getting a 950/960, they're both much better than the 750Ti and don't cost too much. No, I was talking more about this:

No problem :) Yes, measure from the expansion slot to the drive cage, and check the dimensions on the card you want to buy. You can also buy small 950/960s (only include 1 fan) if you want to make sure something fits without the hassle. The MSI Twin Frozr is huge, barely fits in my case:

I would go with this, more than likely to fit in that case.
