Optimize my new GPU (NVIDIA) on OS X El Capitan

So I just bought a new GPU, a EVGA GeForce GTX 960 - I installed it and everything is up and running, except... none of my games can handle increased graphics. I was getting maybe 25 FPS on my old ATI Radeon from 2012, and with the new 960 I should be blazing through Ultra graphics at 60+ FPS (games like ESO, Portal, Borderlands, Counter Strike) but the framerate hasn't changed. (It is FOR SURE running on the new GPU, my old one is removed and the driver states it's on the new 960)

I've got the most recent driver installed, except on my PC I can control all the output factors of my GPU. On my Mac desktop, I can't control anything via the driver (except on/off switch) and therefore my GPU is basically a $200 replacement that does nothing new.

Does anyone have any idea how I can install a program/driver that allows me to set the standard settings on my GPU higher? For example, on my PC Laptop, via the GeForce Experience app, I can alter settings to prefer "quality" over "performance." I can do no such thing in OSX, and want to be able to utilize 100% of my new GPU.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
