Hi!

Dear community - I have old PC with ABIT IP35 mobo (just regular, no ip35-e or pro) with CPU Intel Q6600 OCed at 3,0GHz. My GPU died - goodbye BFG GeForce 8800 GT. Now i'm running on some replacement ASUS EAX1550 which is horribly slow. I want to play some Counter Strike: Global Offensive, League Of Legends, Heroes Of The Storm. I was thinking about GeForce 750 TI. Will this old motherboard run this GPU? Like this one:

Or should I look for something else? If yes that which GPU will run on my old mobo? Now I dont have enough money for new rig because two weeks ago my daughter was born. I can spend max $110 for new GPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated - maybe someone still have this old mobo and is using some new GPUs.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Surprice.

It is a confusing subject in fact, some manufacturer's video cards support both legacy and uefi bios, some only supports uefi, I think you should contact to manufacturer to ask "Will xxx model graphics card work with my non-uefi motherboard?"

Pre-built system's old motherboards has worse compability.

Hi, Your cpu will bottleneck GTX 750 Ti but you will get better fps in games that you have played with 8800 GT. Also you can try reballing your 8800GT if the fan is spinning but you can't get display, I reballed my 8600GT then I played gta5 at 800x600 too for fun. Since graphics card components includes some chemicals which are harmful for your health decide is up to you. Anyways, GTX 750 Ti is the best choice for four cpu, since your motherboard has a pci-e slot it is compatible even with gtx1080, I used Evga one before It drains low power and plays most games at high settings, has nice overclock capability too. I'm not a native English speaker(I'm Turkish) I saw your post and I'd want to share my information, best wishes:)

Thanks for your feedback! But how do you think will even my pc boot up with this GPU? I've heard that if I dont have UEFI bios I can't use GPU which is higher than GeForce 5xx series.
