Hey there.
I'm planning to buy a PC that will be used for games, but I'm low on budget. I currently own a Q8400. I have everything except CPU and MOBO. I've found a good motherboard with Z77 chipset for a good price but that means that I'll have to buy a Sandy or Ivy bridge CPU. Of course, it's cheaper and that's a plus, but the question is are those CPUs old? If I go, for example with 2500k or 3570k, would that be enough, or should I even go with a non K processor. Is overclocking really necessary???

The games I'm going to play are Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1, GTA V and CS:GO (I can play this with a Q8400 pfff).

I'm looking for a CPU that can handle cards like RX 480 or GTX1060 in gaming for couple of years, until I get a new one, keep in mind that I want to spend as little as possible.

So, Sandy bridge or Ivy bridge, K or non K? Or maybe even B chipset motherboard and non K Haswell? I'm talking about used components, of course.

Well considering you will only be gaming there won't be much fps difference between the i5-4570 and the i5-3570k. If you go with 4570 it will need socket 1150, if you go with i5-3570k you will need 1155 socket. Get the cheapest you can.

I really wouldn't go for an intel processor that is older than fourth generation, if you use an old socket processor you will have to get a motherboard with an old socket, somehow forcing yourself to adquire old components. Overclocking isn't really relevant in gaming. I'd recommend you going with haswell.

CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor ($134.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($39.99 @ Newegg)

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

This will probabbly bottleneck those Graphic Cards in some games, but you say you are in a low budget. If you feel like spending more get this processor:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Here, I'll just list the things that I can get here:

ASUS H81M-K - 52 USD
Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3V - 52 USD
ASUS B85M-G - 68 USD

i5-4570 - 160 USD
-------------------------------------------------
ASUS H61M-D - 46 USD
MSI H61M-P20 - 50 USD
MSI B75MA-E31 - 57 USD
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H - 80 USD

i5 2500K - 125 USD
i5-3470 - 130 USD
i5-3550S - 142 USD
i5-3550 - 153 USD
i5-3570 - 165 USD
i5-3570K - 182 USD

Maybe I could get an 3570K for 150 USD, and I think that would be the best option with the Z77 board. But it's not sure. So best one from here? If it's worth to go with Z board and K processor so let be it, but if it's not a significant difference please go with something else. Thanks

I'd recommend you the i5-4570 with a LGA 1150 socket motherboard, here is a budget one:

I cant really get that one at a fair price here in my country, to which newegg or amazon do not ship.
It's around 80 USD in Bosnia. What about those two B85 boards that I've listed. Are they any good?

You mean the motherboard or the CPU? Those B85 LGA 1150 have nice features and compatibility with the i5-4570.

So to reach the conclusion. The i5-4570 should give me similar performance in gaming as 3570k, which is the best i5 out of 1155 socket, and it can handle games pretty well on stock frequency since there is no OC option? If so, then I will go with it, and pair it with some B85 LGA 1150 motherboard.

Insignificant gaming performance difference for a much lower price. Thank you for your patience and answers.
