I brought an asus prebuilt a year back. I decided to upgrade to a new case and motherboard but keep CPU and video card. My windows will not load up but my hard drive is fine. My friend said that it is cpu motherboard locked and he doesn't know what to do. Could I just boot a version of windows from another hard drive it will I have to get new CPU? Any suggestions
