So recently on newer game titles my PC seems to have trouble playing games (graphics all the way down) above 30 fps, I I'm unaware of what could be causing the issue, but I'm assuming that it is my slow 4 GB's of ram.

Please respond if know what the problem is. PC specs below ;p.

CPU: Intel Pentium 3.0 GHz dual core processor

GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 960 OC (rev 1)

RAM: Kingston DDR3 240-Pin 1333 Hz memory

MOBO: IDFK (It came in a prebuilt dell PC) supports 1333 Hz and 1600 Hz memory

PSU: (NEW) EVGA standard 500w power supply

The CPU is definitely the weakest link but 4GB of RAM might occasionally be an issue as well. 8GB or more is a better bet for gaming especially if you leave things running in the background. The speed is less important for the most part though.

Even an i3 might be enough depending what games you play, if you google the model of Dell you have and find the manufacturers page you should be able to find out what CPU's it supports. Or read the manual if you have it.
