Hi so basically I want to get better performance (not that I need it my PC already runs everything great). so I wanted to know if over locking my cpu will give me better performance in gaming. I have an AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz black edition CPU, a GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition for my graphics card, 16gb of DDR3 ram, and a Corsair CX600M for my PSU. I pretty much run any game at between 1080p and 1440p at maximum setting. I plan on buying an AIO liquad cooler then overclocking my CPU. However, I don't want to do it if it won't be improving my gaming performance because that's pretty much all I do. Would love any advice.
