Connecting Hard Drives to Asus Z97-AR

I'm building my first computer right now, and this is probably going to sound like a very silly question, but where do I connect my hard drives? I have a HDD and a SSD to connect.

I've taken a screenshot from the user guide to my motherboard (Asus Z97-AR), seen here:

Do I connect my hard drives to the "B" slots or the "C" slots?

You could connect them to either the B or C SATA ports, but it appears as if the B slots are your SATA 1 and 2 so to keep things in order use those. You can choose within the bios which drive you want to boot to (have your OS installed on) regardless of which ports you use. Good luck with the build!
