Hi there. I signed up to this site, hoping you can help me. I know this is an older threat, but i have a question relating almost the same setting. I have an Asus B85M-G which is running with an Intel i3 4330. RAM is Corsair Vengance 1333MHZ (2x4GB). I now wanted to change to I7 4790k. Said - done. But once the CPU is installed the PC doesn't boot. No "piep", no boot, no BIOS. I have installed the latest Version of BIOS from 2015 (via USB and EZ-Update in BIOS). Do I have forgotten something or may the processor be broken?
What about the ASUS BIOS Updater 2.00.02 (rolled out with BIOS Update 2108?. I Can't start it, because it says "... please ensure that intel management engine interface driver is properly installed." May this be the problem? I have downloaded and installed it, though the system wont start with the new processor. The old one works fine. :/
Thanks for help.
