You can troubleshoot RAM by testing one stick at a time to see if one performs differently than the others.

1) Use BlueScreenView to check what error you got. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
2) Test the RAM one by one with MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm
3) Test the HDD with HD Tune http://www.hdtune.com/ if your HDD is WD or Seagate,and usethe WD or seagate software to test the HDD/
4) Check the cpu or GPU temp.
5) May use onboard iGPU to see the PC runs fine or not. That will know the problem related the r9 270x or not.

The motherboard has support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules. Some inexperienced users don't enable XMP and just run at conservative Serial Presence Detect (SPD) settings where in the course of regular usage it could randomly reboot or go in BSOD.
