Hey guys....i want to buy apc mainly for gaming...i am thinking of taking gtx 960 but i am very confused about cpu....i was thinking to get an i3 6100 buy many people are saying that new games won't support our wrong play good on disk core cpu...my budget is $500 and 960 here is for around $225...please recommend me a good cpu

Solution
The i5 4460 is probably better long term than the i3 6100, however your upgrade path will be more limited. You'll get slower single/dual core performance but better for applications that heavily utilize 3 or more cores.

the i3-6100 should be ok for most things for 4-5 years. The next step up is an i5 6400 or 6500 which adds 5000 to 7000 rupees to the budget. Either one would be better for future proofing. For 60 fps on high in gta5 you probably need at least the 960. If you lower a few settings then a gtx 950 or r7 370 might be able to keep up with 60 fps.
