Hi,
Pretty sure this has been asked a million times, so sorry about this, but i need a really clear answer..
I'm going to be upgrading my CPU soon on an ASUS motherboard and I'm not sure whether i need to update my BIOS version or not...

The CPU I'm planning on upgrading to is the AMD A10-7850k FM2+

My current specs are:
CPU: AMD-6400k Dual Core
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Motherboard: ASUS A58M-E FM2+ (M-ATX, DDR3)
OS: Windows 10

Do I need to update my BIOS version?
Thanks--

[EDIT] This is what it says for my BIOS version/date when I go to system information:
American Megatrends Inc. - 0801

SMBIOS version says: 2.7

Solution
If your bios is older than version 0304 then yes:

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/A58ME/HelpDesk_CPU/

Considering the 6400k on that list requires 0304 you are probably fine.
AMD A10-7850K (FM2+, AD785KXBI44JA, rev.A1, 3.7GHz, L2:4M,

GCN Radeon R7, 95W)

Supported by firmware revision of the bios 1801 installed on the motherboard Toucanator

Link to bios firmware 1801.
