So currently my PC Configuration is:
CPU : i7-4770
MotherBoard: Intel DB85FL
GPU : GTX 650
RAM : 16384MB
Monitor : BenQ GL2450H

I want to upgrade to the GTX 960 but have been wondering if it'll be compatible with my PC so far. I looked into the measurements of both of them and the 650 has a width of 5.70 inches, whilst the 960 has a width of 9.5 inches. Will this affect anything also?

Thanks.

You are good with GPUs up to 10.4" in length in that case.

Your PSU is of low quality, but the GTX 960 has a lower power draw so you will likely be just fine. That is about as large of a GPU as you want to use with that PSU. The units bundled with cases are typically some of the cheapest they make just to make sales. Light reading in the link below for PSU components, protection and the lot.

Your motherboard support PCIE3.0
GTX 960 will fit in your case.
500w will be enough for that build. Although Thermaltake have bad PSUs.
The problem you will face is that GTX960 has no VGA connector. You will need an adapter (which are usually not recommended) or new motherboard

Yes I've had my 650 for quite some time so I wont be needing another graphics card fafter the 960 unless I build another PC. Thanks for your help, i'm less worried about upgrading my GPU now! :)
