I was wondering if i can upgrade to the new amd rx480 without upgrading cpu.
Pc specs
Cpu:amd fx6350(stock speed)
Motherboard:asus m5a97 r2.0
Gpu:r9 280

I
It will in cpu intensive games.
But you will see nice performance increase with rx 480 and your current cpu. So I think its worth upgrading your gpu.
