I'm building a new pc but i have some trouble to choose which motherboard i purchase between Asus and Gigabyte to complete it.
The main use of the pc is montage Video/photo (Photoshop, sony vegas, after effect) and video games (BF3, Lol etc)

My build (Not purchased yet) :
I7 6700k 4 ghz
DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX, 2 x 8 Go, 3200 MHz, CAS 16
Noctua NH-D14
MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2, 650W
Fractal Design Define R5
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO, 250 Go, SATA III

I have a budget of 180$ for the motherboard.

I want a Asus or Gigabyte, i noticed 3 good mobo currently:
- ASUS Z170-A ATX
- GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 3
- GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

The three are great it seem but there are more bad review for the asus z170-a on newegg.

Please help me the choose the best amoung these two brand :)

Hi, some people doesn't understand the importance of to be gentle and carefully while installing a motherboard into a chassis.

The iI/O shield is indeed a fragile thing, as it is on most motherboards.

There are some flaps aground the metal base and which you from inside of the chassis gentle press your fingers and press outwards until it clicks.

So I can surely say there are no problem what so ever with Asus Z-170 motherboard and its I/O shield.
Best regards from Sweden
