Is it possible to use an amd heat sink on a intel motherboard

I have and amd heatsink lying around, I was woundering if I could use that on my motherboard
motherboard:MSI H81M-P33
cpu:Intel Pentium G3220 3.0GHz Dual-Core Processor
cooler:: afb0712hhb

No, AMD coolers are for AMD CPUs. You will need an Intel cooler for your Intel CPU.

Yeah, you can get a stock Intel cooler on eBay (used or new) for like $10, or if you want something a little nicer try going for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo ($30 or less). Just make sure the cooler you get will fit an LGA 1150 motherboard (the motherboard compatible with your Intel Pentium G3220).
