I've been trying to purchase a ASRock EXTREME9 ATX DDR3 1333 LGA 1150 Motherboard Z97 as was recommended by an expert for a computer I'm trying to have built. These appear to be out of stock or no longer available so I'm thinking they must have been replaced by a newer model? Please help. What are your thoughts about an equal or better motherboard?

Discontinued model

Z97 Extreme9 specifically for users who need a relatively large number of high-end graphics cards to share the Z97’s relatively small number of PCIe 3.0 lanes. The so-called 48-lane PEX 8747 PCIe bridge makes this happen by repeating 16 lanes of input to 32. Are you such a user?

Hi Calvin7 thank you for your response. Your questions are way over my head. What I do know is that I want a blazing fast motherboard that can support a large number of high-end graphics cards for performing video and photography work without having to wait between photo modifications. This particular motherboard was recommended by an expert as well as a number of other components for a build. Way over my head, I was just following the dots to configure a computer that could handle all of the graphics/photos modifications.
