A few weeks ago, my desktop began slowing down severely. Everything would work perfectly, then the computer would freeze, and I would have to enter the task manager and stop all running programs. The issue became invasive to the point that I was no longer able to access Google from my Chrome browser without the computer crashing. I had AVG run a scan, and found a piece of Malware, though it was quickly removed and the problem persisted. Not knowing what else to do, I performed the cleanest install possible (deleting all partitions through cmd, creating a new partition and formatting it completely, and reinstalling Windows 7 through a clean disk image) and the issue has not been fixed. I have a feeling that a piece of hardware in my rig is failing, but S.M.A.R.T reports that my hard drive is healthy, and I'm at a loss for diagnosing any further issues. Any ideas? The only hint I've had to go off of is the fact that my Windows Experience Index rated my Processor, RAM, Graphics, and Gaming graphics as 7.6, but rated my "Primary Hard Disk" as a 5.9.

Here's my current stats:

(Before anyone comments, I bought this Alienware off of a family member for $500 back in 2013. I would never purchase one otherwise, but naturally that price negated most of the cons on how it's "cheaper to build my own", and it's served me well).

Alienware Aurora R3

Intel Core i7-2600 (8MB Cache) Factory Overclocked to 3.9GHz
16GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333 MHz, 4 DIMMs
Dual 1.5GB NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450's, SLI Enabled
1TB SATA 3Gb/s, 32MB Cache

Let me know if any other information is needed. Thanks!

Edit:

PSU is: Integrated 7.1 w/ THX TruStudio PC
Power Supply 875W

Been using it since 2013 as my primary computer, though it was purchased in August of 2011. Not sure how to check how much power it's drawing. Any suggestions?
