Hello All
I have try to install the CentOS-6.8-x86_64-LiveDVD/CentOS-6.7-x86_64-LiveDVD through the Vmware and Oracle VM VirtualBox but i got the below Error.

This kernal requires an X86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU
Unable to boot- Please use a kernal appropriate for your CPU


My System Specification
-------------------------------------
RAM:- 4GB
HD:- 150GB
Motherboard:- G31M-S2L
Processor:- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7200 @2.53GHz(X64 bit Architrcture)

I have tried through the google suggestion but no luck.
So could you please someone suggest me why it will happen and how can i fix this Issue.

Solution
In order to run 64-bit operating systems in VirtualBox your processor needs to support VT-x virtualization. Yours does not support this technology. You are limited to 32-bit operating systems in VirtualBox.

Download a 32-bit (i386) version of CentOS here: https://wiki.centos.org/Download
