Hello guys , I am new at PC building and I need some help . I was wondering which combination would work better .
First choice: Amd FX 6300 with GTX 750 ti 2gb
Second choice : Amd Athlon X4 860k with GTX 950 2gb.
Other suggestion are also welcomed.

It's really a toss-up, I would lean a tiny bit towards the X4 860K and the 950 card. Issue is that it's a dead-end platform with no way to upgrade it.

At least with an Intel i3-6100, not only are you getting faster speeds right away, you can upgrade to an i5. I'd wait till you can get another $100 to get the i3-6100 unless that is really impossible for you.

The difference between the X4-860K and the i3-6100 on Newegg is about $30, not really that much. Motherboard prices would be about the same, and so would DDR4 vs DDR3 RAM prices. So not even another $100.
Better would be to list your budget for the build.

The two combinations you picked are just about equal depending on what the system is running.

For a budget gaming system, I'd go with a i3-6100 CPU and the 950 which is available with some decent rebates now.
