Applying thermal paste does it matter if its exposed to fan

I applied the thermal paste with ceiling fan on does the air damages the thermal paste ?

if its exposed for a short time everything should be fine, its its constant it will dry it out over time

It was exposed to air from ceiling fan for 3 minutes, does it damage the paste. I dont think it dried off.

for a short time like that it will be fine, if its extended over a few days/weeks then you will have issues
