Hi folks!
I am building my first gaming pc and I'm about to order some of the components. I've decided to go with the following
i5-6600K CPU,
Kingston HyperX fury 16 gb,
ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING motherboard,
I have yet not picked the GPU, but I am between the amd rx 480 and the gtx 1070 strix ( I know there is a huge leap between these two). I just wanted to make sure, that this PSU will do the job for my pc - Corsair CX750?
Thanks!

A good quality 500W PSU will be more than enough for your build. Online calculators work in a worst-case scenario because a lot of PSUs are simply crap and don't deliver the wattage they claim to.

As said, the CX series is of low quality and not befitting of a gaming PC, especially one that can be overclocked. Consult the PSU tier list for recommended models; www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html.

Calculate it on PCPP if you're going to use a quality unit.

Newegg calc assumes you are using low quality units that have 12V capacitances lower than the actual advertised voltage.

(Lots of 700w supplies out there that can only output 400-500w etc.)
